Motortrend also said Camaro isnt too far behind mustang in handling.

even said camaro has a little higher grade interior... which makes me laugh cuz I hear 75% of u mustangers saying it looks cheap.

So the classes Ford won in.."handling" and "stylish interior"

Ill take the smoother riding, more horses, great look inside and out, pony car of the year. 2010 Camaro
I personally never said the interior of the camaro was cheap, just spacey looking. but the main point i believe i would make is that with 111 extra HP the mustang is right behind the camaro. the camaro is a fine performer we all know, but for the 315hp gt to be right behind it, well that speaks for it self.

The Corvette is a great car but was never intended to sell huge numbers.

I was a little fuzzy on production, but nonetheless, it has been on sale for longer.

Only a few million off bro. let's call it close

More than 9 million Mustangs have been sold since April 1964, and thats data from 2008.

like i said, use all the HP you want... it's not the single factor in a car.
You forgot this one:

Frankly, though, we're amazed at how close the real-world-handling comparison turned out. Sorry, Hatfields and McCoys: No huge winner here. Both Mustang GT and Camaro SS tackle mountain roads superbly.

There's really no point in arguing over "If the Mustang had this," because it doesn't. If the Camaro had a million horsepower we could all drive straight off the edge of the world.

I think the Mustang performs great and I think if everything was equal the Mustang would win, but everything isn't and that's life.

Yesturday I did a side by side comparison with a Black Camaro SS/RS that our chevy dealership is holding, and a Kona Blue 2010 GT....

Id say without a doubt that the Camaro has it beat in about every way. The Mustang has no presence, it feels like JUST another mustang, while the Camaro is clearly a fresh new car. And God Damn is the Black stripe of plastic running along the underside of the car on the mustang ugly. It stands out in person, just a big poorly fitted stripe of black plastic to make the car look thinner. Id say it makes it look cheaper.

Interior wise the Mustang GT appears to use better quality items, though the set up of the interior is uninspiring... the Camaro's (though ill admit feels lower quality) feels more purpose built.

Just my .2 , Id rather take a challenger than the new GT. Dont see ANY reason to buy it over the Camaro.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

But hey, to each their own.

All good brother I drove it for half a day and I can tell you I did not want to give it back, it was enough horsepower for me, a sweet exhaust sound to the point of intoxication. I love how it is smooth and compliant. the live axle is not noticeable at all you can't even tell. The interior was an awesome place I found it comfortable and completely user friendly, the nav and sync was awesome!! In total I loved the car and will be getting one like the one in my avatar, with track pack, red premium interior, nav etc etc.

Well I never got to drive either car, so maybe that was the big difference. Ill have to see about making it over there to take a drive. Have you driven the Z? if so... How would you compare the drive to the Z?

And it has too many wierd things about it..like the doors..they look like should open up like gul-wing doors, but no...they have to open regular.

You're right, I am feeling extremely sick!!

No really, if the Camaro wasn't coming out and looking and performing the way it did, the 2010 Mustang would look a lot better to many. The problem is that the Camaro truly surprised with its look and performance.

The Camaro is the worst part about the Mustang
