I can honestly say that a car hasn't made me this excited since the Camaro.

409...my dad didn't have a 409, but one of the cars he talks fondly about is a 1970 Impala in dark blue that he ordered new. It had a 300hp 350.

It's less than a year away. Early Q1 2013 SORP, in dealerships by late Q1.

No V8.

It's on the XTS's variant of the EpII platform. W-body is dead and buried once the current Impala (which will transition to a fleet-only model) runs its course.

I have dimensions and powertrains. No word on pricing, although I definitely expect it to be much more than the current model.
