Yeah I think SOMETIMES people are alot nicer in person than they are on the computer. Come to think of it I might be guilty of that sometimes.

I can tell you I have driven hours to help fellow car guys with a project I have done and they asked for help. It is hard to know someone by what they write. Some people say I seem angry and uptight. I guess I have a dramatic way of phrasing things.

One thing I notice from being on forums, the guy with the big mouth that acts tough is always 5'6" tall and skinny. I love walking up and introducing myself to that guy, he usually acts much friendlier in person. I guess the world has all kind of compensations for things.

You will be able to find plenty of info here on mods, etc. It takes time for that stuff to get added...

Sounds to me like you are just more concerned with the bickering....not about WHO is doing the bickering. Seems like it has nothing to do w/ a Camaro ONLY forum, ya know? I promise you...put a room of Camaro lovers together in teh same room....no owners of any other vehicles...and when you get enough owners, I promise you will hear "the sky is falling" and "this is crap" from plenty of them. See how many members we have now? We are getting to the big 10k here in a month. The pissed off people WILL find their ways here...

Listen 20 out of 56 agree with me. I hope that by pointing it out in threads like this helps in some small way. And yea, I cannot wait to post my step by step threads of my first mods. Happy days are coming soon. Instead of complaining, I think GM gave us more than can be expected for the money. As a community, we need to find inexpensive solutions for any of the things that bother us.

This is by far the most informative Camaro forum and I would go nowhere else for what I can get here. It is growing by the minute and there are many new members who are eager share and learn. I enjoy it here and look forward every day catching up with the latest greatest information Camaro5 has to offer. That being said I do understand where the OP is coming from somewhat. Like others have said, some of the most negative post comes from Camaro enthusiast, and less from others. There are a few that seem to be here to down the Camaro and talk up their cars. They to me are pretty obvious and seems like it should be to others, but I don't think that is the case. So obvious that it is not hidden that they are not buying a Camaro, interested in buying a Camaro, and the only post they put up are negative towards the Camaro, or the Camaro fanboys. Seems that a member like this would not be able to last as a member here when all they are here to do is stir the pot, feed the fire. But I do not think that is what goes wrong when things go wrong. It is the passion, and some people are just plain negative. Some people are like this and there isn't really anything you can do about them accept ignore them. Debate is a good thing, discussions are great, but sometimes it gets hostile, and sometimes it gets where you don't even feel like posting what you feel on the subject at hand for fear of getting flamed. These are just things that will happen when you get alot of people together especially on the internet. The mods do a great job here, and although there are things here that drive me crazy sometimes, this place is great, and the people are too. I wouldn't want this forum to change a thing accept the things I would change, doh!

I prefer to live the values of our society which is one where all points of view are allowed and freedom of speech is protected. What is being suggested would be a site that I would not visit or participate in. I don't need everyone to agree with me to see value in what they say. And BTW a lot of disagreement here is between the fans on various preferences of the car, if one should pay over msrp, extended warranties, heck I have seen scruffs over HUD and HID headlights.

I used to belong to a site that had moderators that would delete any comment or opinon that they did not like because they did not want anyone to get upset. I left pretty quickly because there was no honest dialogue
