I've read the Details Book/Reference Guide for the Equinox, and GM is indeed placing the Equinox in competition with the Escape.

well than maybe that tips it to GM for that one. i would have to look at more specs i guess. ive driven a 07 equinox and i know the cargo room is less than escape but cant be that different.

my final post of the night. look guys i dont want GM to go down. ive owned them before. Ford is just my favorite. and the camaro vs stang thing will never go away. they always one-up each other in the end.

Bottom line is that i want our big 3 to get out of the hell hole they are in and go back to the old days of healthy competion and taking our money the old fashioned way........sales.

if things get much worse.......it might go back to the 70's and our camaro ss and stang gt will have 150hp and feel like we're riding a bike.

its logical and the american way of doing business. always trying to one-up your rival. imagine what future camaros vs mustangs could do if they have a healthy company behind it!
