Why? Are you planning on moving out of the USA?

I wouldnt marginalized your opinion an if I did j sure didn't mean to.

I'm simply try to put some perspective to the conversation and in some cases that seems to make things worse not better.

If there is a business in that makes money GM would bring it.
your wasting your breath. Obviously capt awesome's bashing is way beyond "GM"

Some new images in this link.

They also confirm that Australia will sell the Trailblazer but not the US. No reason yet given for this idiotic decision.

Its OK...I'm really trying, but I'm having a hard time loving the front end of this and new Colorado...they look like they took a malibu front and stuck it on and just doesn't look truely truck like to me. With some tweaks I think it could work, but it isn't quite crossing the line for me.

As far as the interior of this thing...I hope that isn't the top of the line one they are showing in the pic, and is rather a base interior because it is pretty boring.

Compared to the current generation Colorado this interior is Mercedes built!

A special message from the future:

When the EPA and NHTSA taxed SUVs,
I remained silent;
I did not drive an SUV.

When they made it cost prohibitive to build pickup trucks,
I remained silent;
I didn't need a pickup truck.

When they placed onerous taxes upon the sale of full size sedans,
I did not speak out;
I do not drive a full size sedan.

When they banned the use of crossovers,
I remained silent;
I do not drive a crossover.

When they came for my Camaro,
there was no one left to speak out.

I suspect the turbo 4 will get about the same mileage but make a little less power than the NA V6, with more cost and more complexity (i.e. more ways for something to go wrong). That's what the Ford Ecoboost experience has generally been like, and I suspect it will be the same for GM.

I never thought I'd live to see the day when 6-cylinder engines were considered "Gas Guzzling". What do they call V8's in that paper? "Kitten Squashing"? "Baby Mutilating"? "Planet Devastating"?

Just curious...

My v6 engine is a pretty big gas guzzler. 19.6 average mpg with mostly highway driving!

The article was accusing the Malibu V6 of being a "guzzler". It's all about the language. Make "V6" a "dirty" word like "V8" was a few years ago.

What ever happened to journalism? Just stating the facts without the commentary?

A retorical question if I've ever heard one. Opionism might be the better word.

I had the same thoughts as you reading that.

I like your choice of words better... I think we can agree on this!

I find articles like this very manipulative. I'm glad to see others notice it too.
