My Flex breaks into the 12s!

Ok... so it was 12.990... But I backed that up with a 12.949! I also had five 13.0x runs!

Here are the time slips. I am car 201.

Fun little video, featuring a couple of members of the Detroit 5th Gen Club!

Thanks!

I was all set just to get the wife the non-ecoboost version... and then i drove the ecoboost and knew I would absolutely kicked myself if i didn't splurge and go with the EcoBoost! Never dreamed I would be able to break into the 12s with relativity few mods!

that's 2 and a half tons of pure brick slicing through the poor air!

should we say this is probably a current record for the flex?

Thanks!

@bmorecam - Not quite the record... another guy has gone 12.90! ARGH! So close! But I did trap slightly faster, so I know there is a good chance I can take that #1 spot! LOL!

@TheReaper - Yeah, pretty much sums it up! LOL!

I forgot to add that is just awesome to get that number on light mods in a 5000 pound rollerskate. (Or toaster, whichever you prefer. LOL)

That's awesome!

I'm hoping to get my 6,200 lb brick into the 12s. My 1/8 mile times are a hair faster than your runs, so I'm hoping I can do it!

Thanks! The politically correct term is Brick! LOL

And yeah, mod list is fairly short considering at 100% stock I was at 14.2@98 MPH. My performance mod list:

Custom Tune
Alky Controls methanol kit - I'm running 100% methanol
Axle back exhaust
Lighter weight 20" wheels
