Agreed the driver was probably holding back (or a really really bad driver). He may also be giving some kudo nods to a fellow sports car fan because the new camaro's are very nice looking, even compared to cars 2,3 or 4 times the cost. Performance AND cost are the reasons I went with one myself.....

Man there is a gorgeous used 08 jet stream blue Z06 down at my chevy dealer right now.

Soooooooo tempted....

I do like 911's though. For a little while, I had myself convinced that I needed to sell my Camaro and buy a 911. When I started to look into the cost of aftermarket upgrades........I changed my mind. It's just ridiculous.

I'm talking like $6k for an exhaust.

If a Turbo Porsche raced an SS, which would win?

In case of the new 991, definitely the Turbo.

3.6 secs 0-62mph, 500hp, bags of torque (700 Nm), less weight and AWD...

Turbo S takes it up a notch further even, 3.3s 0-62, 530hp.
