This is the first time I've watched "A new hope" and thought that it was really old movie. Wow, they had to do so much with so little back then.

Ground-breaking special effects. Much of it invented while they were filming. Quite an achievement.

These movies were so special in their time, nobody really remembers nowadays. Only episode 3 really met up to the legacy of 4, 5 and 6.

The first one I saw was Empire Strikes Back when I was 3 in 1985, its one of the first things I can remember. The carbonyte freeing, Boba Fett and Darth Vader sitting at that table in Cloud City are some of my earliest memories.
