i know man they would never expect a kid like myself to actually pay for such a nice car but the fact is that i wake up at 5am five days a week to head to work in the city doing demolition and when there isn't any demo work i work with my father. I learned the value of a dollar from my father when i was young so i am not irresponsible with my money that i work hard for. on top of that i am a full time student taking night classes so i know i deserve what i have

People have been driving like assholes around me ever since I got this car. All but one who actually gave me a thumbs up after I got fed up and accelerated away from his nonsense.

I think the older people are the more you can humiliate them for being ignorant. All spring break I had to kick people off my beach rental chairs with no incident. The one person who I exchanged words with over the 4 week period was a military guys wife. What immature "drunk as piss" college kids did without incident this 40 something wife decided she didn't have to listen. I had to tell her several times the chairs were rentals and she just acted like I was nothing. The police and club security helped her sort it all out. You would be very surprised at how dumb tourist can be. The best part of my job is having the ability to have you removed from the beach if you don't behave. People live with this thought that Florida beaches are public. I've had the police explain to several people over the years that this is not the case and you cannot just do whatever you want when your on the beach. The other day a girl asked what time we closed. I replied that we were done at 5. She then replied "5?????".....I answered "o'clock" and her friends all laughed.

This story is funny as hell. Literally laughed out loud a few times, esp on the comment that the thing above the engine is a washing machine, lol.
Almost spilled my coffee.
I would of loved to be riding shotgun when this all went down.

Btw, obama loves the vette. I believe his quote when he sat in one was, " this car is sick!". One thing I'm pretty certain of, had it not been the gov who stepped in, the camaro likely would not exist today.

Anyway, I hate the ford Taurus SHO. I dont understand why it exists and why anyone would buy one. It's ugly as hell and the majority of the regular Taurus I see on the road are all rust buckets with sagging suspension in the rear.

Most of the times I've taken my car out some Mustang owner starts revving his engine, or races around in competition with himself. My wife is like, "Why are they doing that?". "It's a Ford dear. They have to rev them to keep the engine running. Like that guy in our neighborhood with the crotch-rocket." But seriously, that's the one negative I've found with owning a convertible. There's no shutting out the noise of some idiot punishing his engine.

Not really patients, I was just in one of those moods when I was getting more of a kick out of letting this guy make himself look like a fool then anything. It was clear he was 100% uneducated so was not worth getting to fired up about but it was fun to let him make a fool of himself!!!

My family has been a chevy patron forever. I was sad when the government stepped in and took over most of GM. It saddened me even more when the truth came out that they really did not have much choice in this. The way I saw it, the more cars GM sold and the sooner they did it, the sooner they would get the Gov off their back.

I have purchased two GM cars since the take over, one for fun, the 2010 camaro 2ss and one for nessesity, 2011 Cruze. ALOT of others on here have done the same thing supporting GM. They have come out with some great cars in the past 4 years so hopefully it will not be long before they are free from the government boot, if that is possilble, hard to cut the cancer of government out once its attached to you!!!

I would have had to make mention of hearing his wife "bleating", he should shut up and trot home now.

The guy in the Ford SHO was just being immature.
You were confident and know what you got and do not have to prove
it to anyone. I would have done the same thing.
Some people never matured since High School.

Haha small world, I work as an interior contractor in Atlanta and we do a lot of demo indoors. It's a PITA cause you have to keep tabs on everything, lay down plastic, work after hours so as not to piss off the clients by being too loud.
I mean, if they want us to come in and smash down their old office, they outta expect some noise, lol.
Clean up is a bitch too, we use buggies to get the drywall, carpet, and whatever else we're throwing out, from the tenant's space to the dump truck. And half the time they don't want us rolling buggies around the damn place.

They just don't understand, and they never will. I'm sure you experience this sh*t where you work as well. Stupid people don't understand the work that goes on behind the scenes.
