Also I just watched a video on youtube from some guys that have seen the new 2014 Chevrolet Impala and they say that it looks ALOT better than the current Impala that sounds really good. They said that it is a giant leap compairing the two cars.

its not hard to make the new impala look way better than the current one cause IMO the current one looks fugly.

Chevrolet has already stated a loooong time ago that the interior of the next Corvette C7 would be waaaay better than the current C6 Corvette interior. They basically have stated all of their interiors for all vehicles will be much improved from here on out.

I just read that the base price on the new 2013 Viper will be $94,500. What are they smoking? They must not want to sell very many Vipers. And you can forget about it competing much with the C7 Corvette with a base price like that.

I guess it makes sense since its suppossed to compete with the Z06 & ZR-1, Audi R8, Aston Martin Vantage. But still wouldnt they want a base model thats in the $50,000 price range? Engine will be a V10 making 660hp. We will see if they announce the official price or not next week but people tend to think it will be that much.

The Viper is a true American exotic, no base model you just get it as is, the Corvette is not an exotic. The Viper is an exclusive car more so than any Vette can ever be simply due to not having a base model...

Agree...viper is for fighting super cars...not base corvettes.

I can't wait to see this car.

Is that an OH SH!T handle in the middle of the dash or am I seeing this wrong?

It seems like it and if so perhaps with the leather dash, SRT is going to be a more luxurious sports car market, like no compromises in a sense...

Come on!! Just because a Viper sells less units doesn't make exclusive. If that was the case then a Yugo must be exclusive too.

Corvette is nothing less than iconic. Like other brands (think Porsche and Audi), Chevy makes a model that gets younger people and then they offer bigger and more powerful models for those people to grow into. Heck, even Lamborghini announced this year that they will be introducing a "starter" Lambo. To me, that's just smart business.
