Glad to see everyone is doing great!!! Getting rid of this gut is gonna be the hardest part I can tell. Anyone have some good exercises or anything that can help with the lower stomach? I want it to go away

Both of us have to eat 6 times a day and we only spend $14 a day feeding the both of us. We do our shopping and food prepping on Sunday and have our meals packed ready to go for the entire week. No matter what your schedule is, you will always have the food with you. It takes getting used to but it just takes determination. Its all about being healthy and fit. If any of you have any questions let us know. We really have enjoyed it and it has brought us closer too. We are both still pretty young 28 and 29 but anyday is a good day to start.
Sounds awesome! Congrats to you and your wife for starting this earlier in life! It will definitely change your quality of life and I know that working out with my fiance definitely brings us together. Its nice to have the extra motivation sometimes!

I eat five times a day and work out 5 days a week, and like you I make my lunches and breakfasts on Sunday, and then cook healthy for dinner.

this is where I'm at right now, this is last sunday at the beach!

I'll make it more of a habit to check back in here every day or so, but you guys are really doing well, keep up the GREAT work!
Yay youre back! Lol. Your hard work is really showing! I can't wait for your competition! I'll be patiently waiting to see the pics!

Just be aware that abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym. I mean the right workout does help, but eating clean is where the real change will happen. Keep at it, it will come with time.

So I bought several Bob Harper DVDs awhile back and I haven't gotten to do many of them. My younger sister told me to try the Total Body Transformation because, well, it kicked her hiney! I was quite sure that since I am a P90X and Insanity grad that the TBT couldn't be that rough. I was wrong. Very very wrong. Oh my goodness was I wrong. Total Body Transformation is sort of like Shaun T's Pure Cardio in the sense that they are no stops and it's go, go, go! But it's mostly compound moves that never end and exhaust a certain muscle until its useless only to move on to the next muscle victim. I was so sore later the next day.

On another note: I upped my calories a bit (I track them with the iphone app LoseIt). I don't think I was eating enough, creating too much of a deficit. So I will see how it goes. I'm going to reevaluate in two weeks. I also bought some probiotics. I used to take them in high school cause I got a lot of ulcers and my doctors thought they would help but I haven't taken them since. So I'm interested to see if I will notice a difference.
