All love for my car aside, I definitely agree that this featured Ford advertisement for the Mustang is far superior to the Superbowl Chevy ads.

It is possible to still be loyal to a thing while thinking another is grand. Case and point: I tend to think I'll never be Mister Universe, but my wife thinks I'm tops. I bet most everybody's spouse/family member thinks similarly!

I don't think my wife knows you. But I'll ask her if she thinks you're going to be Mr. Universe.

First off you are very late to the game in posting this. It was already posted several times several weeks ago. Secondly, Ford had better have some pretty darn good ads and a lot of them because their sales on the Mustang keep slipping away to the Camaro.

Besides, I liked the Camaro ad just as much as the Ford ad. It was just a different approach.

Seems to me that once again Ford stole another Camaro idea..... Make the car your own!

If it wasn't for Chevy ford wouldn't have any idea on what to sell or how to sell a car. Just saying in fun.

Competition is what makes things great in the business world. If the Camaro hadn't been kicking the Mustang's ass in sales for the last few years, Ford probably wouldn't have bothered paying extra money on nice flashy commercials. Evidently, the Camaro sells itself. Just sayin.

I think the commercial is really cool and if GM had done it and the black swan was the ZL1, everyone on here would be singing a different tune.

It was a very thought out commercial how they matched the "buyers" with how they would personalize their particular mustang then the ballerina showing as the black swan in the reflection was great.

I give Ford props for this commercial.

As for the GM one. It's ok. There were several others that were much better but this one won. I don't hate it, it's just not that "cool". It doesn't really showcase the car at all. It's a yellow convertible. Could be any car.

A lot of folks on here need to take off the GM blinders and at least take notice that there are other cars out there. You don't have to buy one, or even like them but to just bash every single thing... Crazy. Like the USA Today ad where the Shelby 1000 is falsely lifted... People are here are getting all bent about it. WGAS it's an ad. Last time I checked there were a few far fetched GM ads.

Far fetched GM ads? What are you smoking? They're quite factual. Besides none of this matters. All the ford drivers died in the apocalypse and there's no way a Camaro is getting around town anymore. Ha! I like the mustang commercial much better. I also like "maro's" much better than "stangs". Agreed, there were better Camaro commercials than the winner. Who cares? They're all just advertising rubbish.

I find that the DVR allows me to fast forward though the commercials.

Agreed... that Chevy add was stupid. How is that going to make me want to buy a Camaro? Especially for a Super Bowl commercial... you don't get much weaker.

Personally I much prefer the Chevy ad. And I have a degree in advertising and public relations, so... When we went to our friends' superbowl party, 50 people were packed into my friend's man-cave, and they were all howling after the ad finished playing.

While those were entertaining, they didn't motivate me at all to get either car.
