2013 Mustang review isn't much of an improvement.

http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoram...143038804.html

The 2013 Mustang with its updated features looks cooler than before but not much more impressive in power. I like the new front headlights although it looks more like the Camaro and the taillights are sweet. I like the hood vents as well but doesn't seem to follow the typical Mustang hood features. I see they added what, like 17hp but the axle hasn't improved and after reading this review that was Fords major downfall.
I'm a Chevy guy but do appreciate the Mustang and Challenger and this new stang looks good I just think its time for a body change. Hope I got everything right in this so I don't get a chewin'.

I didn't see that as a bad review. After all it's a facelift not an all new car.

I didn't say bad review I said the car looked better just that the main problem that people didn't like( the solid axle) wasn't resolved.

I didn't know it required 4,000+ post in a little over a year to be an experienced thread poster. and no longer a noob.

Me myself prefers a solid axle, but im also a drag racer. One of the biggest downfalls of the 03-04 cobras was that irs. Even with the sra the mustang is still a pretty good performer in the twisties. And a GREAT performer at the strip. Just look at the Boss. IMO no Muscle Car should have a irs. Sports car, yes. But it is 2012 and i understand why its happening.

Yeah your also the same guy that was saying people werent saying things like this. Well guess what I just read the comments under this article and heres a copy and paste of what they said about the rear end for the Mustang which I knew they were saying all along.

"Dear Ford , thanks for fixing that ugly ass rear lower body section you've for the last couple of years!"

"the rear end is really ugly. The tail lights look bad. The car is ugly compared to the Camaro. Ford needs to completely change the look of the ugly Mustang"

"Looks like Ford finally got rid of the hideous looking rear fascia plaguing the 2010-2012 models."

And these are all opinions I see all the time for the rear of 2010-12 Mustangs so its NOT an opinion thing. The Camaro backend lights look like something from a super car the Mustangs not so much.

You are right that IRS isnt as good at the dragstrip but it looks like everyone will have to get used to that from here on out since the next Gen Mustang is getting IRS again like the Camaro has and the new Barracuda likely will too. Plus anyone that has rode in a current Gen Mustang knows how much rougher it is on the road compared to the Camaro where you dont feel anything on the road really due to the IRS.

No I NEVER said the Camaro WAS a super car- BUT the new ZL1 is about on that same level it really is. But the base cars are not BUT they look like one thats the difference. Compare the back tail lights of the Camaro dont they look very very similar to the Corvette naturally and even the Nissan GT-R? Yep they do.
