SALES DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING!!! If it were to mean anything my first thought would be its the most affordable/best marketed car. Or how about a car that has been GONE for YEARS so ppl miss it and theres a HIGH demand for it. BTW the mustang has outsold the CAMARO the past couple of months.

Annnnnnd actually there was this car THEN there was the synergy green camero. (even tho everyone knows sublime green was before all with the daytona) Yea why would chevy ever look at a V8 powered "sport" sedan and bite off it right??

Lol your wrong again " Mustang has outsold Camaro last couple months" Correction the Mustang outsold the Camaro last month before that the Camaro outsold it the past 8 months straight. Last month was mainly due to incentives. As far as the high demand stuff with the Camaro being on hiatus for 7 years that is wrong too due to the amount of people that have purchased a new Camaro without EVER have owned a Camaro in the past before.

Its one thing to like a car brand BUT another thing to go to another brands forum and talk boldly about the competing car like its the best ever. If you guys were nicer to our Camaros on here there wouldnt be any issues nuff said.

The challenger is contrantly on top in owner satisfaction BTW. I think them calling these STYLE awards DESIGN awards is a joke too. It has decent style, but IMHO, it is getting old fast. As for design, there are too many compromises for the actual design to be awarded. Less interior space than such a big car should have, small trunk opening, small trunk, poor sitelines, plasticky interior, lack of features such as a basic navigation system, the actual DESIGN aspects are pretty lacking. Also Dodge has been comping out with special colors for the Challenger since it came out, it was just time for a green and currently Challenger owners had been asking for green for years. It is not like this is the first green Mustang either.............
The interior of the Camaro is improved now with leather on the dash it still has some plastics BUT all cars have plastics in them thats the nature of the beast. If we are going to talk about interiors I would take the Camaros over the interior in the Dodge Charger or Challenger any day I dont like how the speedos are on the new Dodges but the steering wheel is alright on the new Charger but the one on the Challenger is not great. I will say the Mustang has a pretty good interior no complaints there I have been in a 2010 before. Why everyone makes such a big deal about navigation I have no clue... Thats what ONstar is for turn by turn navigation. And im sure that nav will be an option with a screen in the upcoming years for the Camaro if not this gen for sure the 6th Gen. Alot of the issues you are saying will be addressed when the lighter 6th gen comes out.

No it is not, the Camaro is a brand-new car people are going to go for the newer car because it is a trend. How many people do you think you bought that lame Transformers Edition just because they liked the Camaro in the movie, I don't count the actual enthusiasts in this number either only the people that will very likely trade when the latest and greatest comes out. Due to its hiatus the Camaro wasn't an option, now that it is people have more choices than ever when they're choosing a pony car. Ford, and Chevy both see that enthusiasts are less of the market than the average Joe. If they weren't marketing Camaro the way they are now it is very likely that we will not see an I4 in the sixth gen. That's great for the enthusiast but not for the castrated male whose wife won't let him buy anything other than a V6 or even better in her eyes an I4. That last statement wasn't meant as a dis to V6 owners either. It was just pointing out a scenario where a man can't get what he wants so has to settle.
That jumped a little but the point is that Chevy marketed the Camaro with Transformers way better than Ford ever could have. Now somebody sees the Camaro and thinks transformers and some see transformers and think of the Camaro it works both ways.

You can think what you want but if you actually believe that the hiatus did not affect sales in any way shape or form then you sir are a boob, and I mean that with the utmost respect!

Ummm, FYI, Charger got a totally new interior for 11 that is just simply great looking. The Charger and Challenger have totally different guages (Charger has the newer style guages, Challengers are classic white face). the steering wheel comment tells me how up to date you are since both have the same steering wheel............... Anyways, you missed a lot of my post or just left it out for convienence. these are things the Camaro currently lacks as far as DESIGN. Yes they can fix it in later generations, but I was referring only to current gens and I'll admit neither is perfect. the Challenger has rear blind spots, but space and ergonomics are probably tops out of 3. The Mustang does more with less, but the placing of the emergence brake handle and lack of leg space (wide) isn't the greatest. The pioint ios, as nice as the Current Camaro is, it seems to have the most compromises for the sake of style.

You are completely right BMD all cars interiors have plastic in them. There's nothing inherently wrong with the Camaros interior until you sit in a car with incredible interior quality fit and finish and otherwise. To me the Camaros interior gets a 6/10.

you have issues man. I have owned GM products and Ford as well. The reason my name even has two SS's in it is because i used to be strictly GM-minded. Ive since realized how dumb it is to just blindly follow one company like that, one that shows apparently no loyalty to its customers (they destroyed the Impala name). I have had more GM cars than Ford (the galaxie is my only Ford). Whats the point of being on a message forum where you interact with other people, if these interactions are causing you so much stress and hurt feelings ? Let it go and let us have open discussions.
