The Mustang is a damn good looking car IMO. Better than the Camaro and even better than the Challenger now that its starting to get dated...

LOL Where do they get you guys at? Are either one of those Dodge greens metallic? And saying that the Mustang looks better than the Camaro & Challenger is crazy the sales of the cars should tell you that. Camaro looks wise is the best and im not trying to start a fight on here but facts are facts when you win SEMA'S Hottest Car of Show Award TWO years in a row not to mention Car Design of the Year Award that means its the best looking car. Dont get me wrong I like the new Challenger how it looks like a classic muscle car but its dated now I saw a black one today parked across the street and looked at it its starting to lose its awe factor. The Mustang still has a ways to go the 2010-2012 backend tail lights are HIDEOUS and thats not my opinion thats FACT I have seen numerous Ford Mustang fans even say they didnt like them and why do you think Ford decided to change them up for 2013? It wasnt for giggles & laughs and the front end is stale now since its been around since 2005.

Oh yeah to all the Mustang fans on here.... Please explain this to me I guess deep down all the Mustang fans really really want their Mustang to look like a Camaro- More specifically Bumble Bee from Transformers!

The Snakeskin green has PLENTY of matallic in it!! The sublime has plenty of pearl. Synergy green is damn near a direct rip off of snakeskin. How can you not see that??? I posted those pics in response to the guy saying that ford copied chevy cause they now have a lime green car when in fact the two are very much different. The synergy and snakeskin are wayyyy closer. But who cares?? THE CAMARO WASNT THE FIRST CAR EVER BUILT. It wasnt the first car with a windshield,wheels,tires,v8,leather seats,radio,ac,heat and so on. So since it wasnt the first with those things who did it copy???? Its typical fanboy crap that camaro5 is known for all over the internet. This includes other GM forums too. Go spend some time on ls1tech and see what they say about this forums members.

PS Anybody that has followed muscle cars knows that MOPAR was the TREND SETTER when it came to over the top colors. GOOGLE is your friend.

Sales of the camaro and challenger should tell me what?? The Challenger sells less than both of them so does that mean its the worst looking car. Even now the general concensius is that the Challenger is the BEST looking of the 3. Yet it has the lowest sales. Thus your theory is garbage.

How is anything about the APPEARANCE of a vehicle a FACT??? Isnt doesnt matter if 10,000,000 ppl says it looks like crap as long as ONE says they like it its all a matter of OPINION. Only fact about it is the fact that YOU dont like it.

As far as bringing up how Dodge had the crazy colors yeah everybody knows that whats the point??? We know about the Plum crazy purple ect. It still doesnt change the fact that after the Camaro sales were sooo big with the new Synergy Green THEN the following year Dodge copied with their Green with Envy and Mustang copied now with Grabber Green or whatever its called.

So because I own a company that hands out rewards that means that because my company and a couple other say its the best looking car that means its now FACT. What dont you understand about there is NOTHING fact about anyones OPINION. How a car looks is NEVER a FACT due to EVERYBODY having different tastes.


SALES DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING!!! If it were to mean anything my first thought would be its the most affordable/best marketed car. Or how about a car that has been GONE for YEARS so ppl miss it and theres a HIGH demand for it. BTW the mustang has outsold the CAMARO the past couple of months.

Annnnnnd actually there was this car THEN there was the synergy green camero. (even tho everyone knows sublime green was before all with the daytona) Yea why would chevy ever look at a V8 powered "sport" sedan and bite off it right??

Im not a fan of challener talk being that is NOT the place to be for modern mopars. LXFORUMS is but i wouldnt expect you to know that. Im a regular on svtp,ls1tech,lxforums,acurazine, and a few more. Dont have any issues over there...

1. Of course the Camaro is out selling the Mustang, Camaro is only three model years old, the Mustang is almost a decade old and most people buying the Camaro do so because it's a trend, if the Mustang got scrapped instead of the Camaro then it would be the exact opposite...

2. Transformers was a great marketing technique for Chevy.

3. The reason anyone directly inside or outside the community on Camaro5 has to dislike it would be due with constant irrelevant nonsense certain people keep spewing. Camaro5 is an awesome site but there are a few people that keep screwing up the sites reputation.

A lot of the people on this site that don't own Camaro's love the Camaro just like a lot of the people on this site that own Camaro's are fueled by utter ignorance. There are good and bad in all places it just seems like the VS and Other Automotive Sections Should just be shut down since intelligent conversation doesn't seem to be possible.

Also one last point since sales figures are obviously so important to the consumer, how many people have come up to you and your car and said anything along the lines of "Nice car I bet I bet it outsells the Mustang..." No one will any of the questions will be "Is it fast?, Is it the V8?, etc..."

The Camaro came out in 2010, so of course folks are going to go for the "new" car rather than the 10+ year old Mustang. Ford has done an incredible job on the Stang. They just need to make the exterior styling more futuristic like the Camaro, and it's game over.

The awards you speak of are JOKEs at best and like most the opinions of the judges there on that day. How many times has the Camaro beat a Mustang in a Comparison? the Mustang has been on car and drivers 10 best for the last 3 years, Camaro has NEVER made an appearance. The challenger is contrantly on top in owner satisfaction BTW. I think them calling these STYLE awards DESIGN awards is a joke too. It has decent style, but IMHO, it is getting old fast. As for design, there are too many compromises for the actual design to be awarded. Less interior space than such a big car should have, small trunk opening, small trunk, poor sitelines, plasticky interior, lack of features such as a basic navigation system, the actual DESIGN aspects are pretty lacking. Also Dodge has been comping out with special colors for the Challenger since it came out, it was just time for a green and currently Challenger owners had been asking for green for years. It is not like this is the first green Mustang either.............
