If we can't joke about anything that might be considered offensive to anyone then we will never joke. Nobody thinks suicide is funny.

That being said, Nice gun.

I like the light and easily concealed Kel Teks. Really light.

Currently I have 2 Berreta 9mms. Bonnie and the kids are used to me carrying one after dark.

PS, please call before stopping by at night time.

I have a Glock 30, which is a .45 with a compat barrel. Nice gun, but I would like something a little higher quality such as a Sig Sauer P228.

I just want to know how PQ feels about not having a full automatic.

I got no problems with it.

My mother in law asked me once how I'd feel if someone broke in to school or out and about and shot and killed my son or daughter with a fully automatic assault gun. (obvious to know what side they are on, lol)

My answer was simple, quick and perfect.

"Same way I'd feel if they were shot and killed by a single shot Wal-Mart gun."

I'd feel the same way as anyone would. I get the arguments and I'm not polar on either side but I am for the right to own. Hold the owner to higher accountability standards, make them cost a helluva lot more by taxing or making harder permits, whatever. But we should be able to buy what we can to defend ourselves.

No, I'm not going to own one. But at least I have the choice.

lol, IF that's what you were asking.

A weapon is considered loaded if a magazine, with rounds, is inserted; even though a round is not chambered. (For the dummies, this happens when you insert the magazine and "rack" a round manually)
Here in CA you can carry a handgun, but the magazine cannot be "loaded" in the weapon. You can carry a handgun in a holster, on your belt, anywhere you go, as long as the magazine is not inserted. (on a magazine pouch or in your pocket)
This is coming from the CA police officers that train us during our field training.

So you can carry your weapon inside your car, but make sure the magazine (loaded or not) is not inserted. If you're not rly good at inserting a magazine and shooting in a few seconds, I'd recommend you practice it with an EMPTY magazine. Most of us in the field carry our handguns with a chambered round, but the safety either on or the hammer de-****ed and re-set. (Big boy rules). This is how it should be carried at all times... too bad some people can't rly handle weapons and end up shooting themselves... so rules such as this (carrying a weapon without a magazine inserted) is implemented. Capish?

Not in my state. You just go to the sheriff's office and apply. I got mine on the spot. No classes, not showing that you even know how to spell handgun.

Most states have either a local or statewide police agency who will provide handgun safety training which would surely define "Loaded" for you. It might be the same agency that trains for "carry permits". I wouldn't take a chance on carrying without knowing exactly what the law says. The trainer will give you a "statute" that clearly outlines the laws. Follow them! Illegal carry is a felony in most states and that's a tough sentence.

well said! We like to call here the "United States", but all the states have different rules, haha!! Better to know "exactly" what your state mean when they say a "loaded weapon."
