Bloody west coast weather I traded my 2010 ss in on a 45th anniversary ragtop on Thursday. The car is 6 hours away from me with an ugly mountain pass between us. I am dying to do the swap and it started snowing about the time I gave my deposit and hasn't stopped since. Screw you March.

Pictures? Okay. This is the car I'm trading. Bought it in October and got tired of the yellow (and transformers references) real fast. Was too good of a deal to pass up though, actually made money on the trade.

I made it over to Costco this morning and just as I was walking in from the south 40 (no such thing as parking too far away from other cars), another 5th Gen pulled in and parked far closer to the entrance and other cars, than I ever would. That should have been a clue....

Anyway, I struck up a conversation with the driver, who'd seen me get out from my car. He complimented my car, and I complimented his, a stunningly beautiful black with bright yellow hockey stripes and I asked him if he knew about C5.

He shrugged and commented that this was his least favorite, most uncomfortable, can't-get-golf-clubs-out-of-the-trunk blah blah blah...

What a shame. Every car like ours deserves to have an owner who appreciates it.

Hmmm, I haven't kept track of where Chev is going with colors since I got mine in 2009. Guess that's why I didn't know the 45th only comes in Granite Black. Sure hope you can pick it up before the 31st That's a long way off to wait for your baby. :(

Dude, I feel your pain. In '09 you could not get one from a dealer. No dealer had one.... you had to order. Then wait for it to be built. Then wait for it to be shipped. etc. etc. I almost died. I'm still on life support. My body nearly couldn't take it. I aged prematurely. I'm really only 22, but the wait in '09 made me into a *gulp* 60 YEAR OLD!
