Yeah I know, protein is hard for me.

Some days I do really good with protein and I eat alot, like eating boiled eggs in the morning and such but some days I don't. My lunch and dinner were both made with turkey and lunch had beans in it so there is some protein there. It just fluctuates. Still dont like protein shakes.

Hmm, well for the way you work out getting about a gram of protein per pound of LEAN body mass would be a good benefit.

You may already know this but just in case.

To figure your lean body mass, subtract your body fat from your body weight. For me it's 9% so 158 - 9% = 144. So 144lbs of lean body mass. I eat 2 grams of protein per pound since I lift heavy, but for you 1 should do it.

Yeah I knew that. I haven't measured my body fat in awhile. I guess I should do that.

Out buying my dress for the wedding.

I was measured a few weeks ago, ugh!!! It's good to have a base line on my measurements. Just measured today & notices that I've lost 1" in my waist & 1/2" in my hips. Sweet !!! That's a start : o) Keep that trend going!

I'm at my mother-in-law's house today. I just ate way too much (but not as much as I used to) at my cheat meal (german schnitzel, potato salad, slaw -their potato salad & slaw are much healthier than ours, fresh tomato slices, cooked mushrooms with a parsley sauce, ...). Now it is time for dessert & coffee, the really dangerous time. I will try my best to keep it within reason....but it will be hard!

I have the same problem at my mother and laws house. She cooks that cajun food and I have a hard time reeling myself in! Just get back to kicking butt the next day!

Go Jo! Glad youre finally healed up!

I'm having to stick to lifting weights this week since this sinus infection has killed my lung capacity.

I don't know if this thread was meant for men, but I meet my New Years Resolution in preparing for my wedding in late May. I lost 35lbs of weight and these were my results. I also can't forget pics of the beautiful wife to be! Opps I almost forgot I was 235lbs and I'm now 200lbs. I feel much much better with the weight off!
