It's dull looking with a side order of drizzle...

However, this Old Fart is looking forward to FRIDAY...that's when the 22 year old in me comes out to play !!!

Windy here today. But warm. That wind is coming north from Vegas.

There was a fellow who lived kinda out in the backwoods. He'd been cuttin' his own firewood with an axe all his life. One day a friend came by and told him he oughta get one o them newfangled chain saws. Told him he could cut twice as much wood in half the time. Well that sounded kinda interesting to this ol' fart. So one day he headed down to the general store an bought hisself one. Got it home an set to cuttin some more firewood for the winter. After a day of cuttin he didn't have any more wood than he would have in a day with his trusty axe. So the next day he got up real early and worked ALL day. Yessir he actually did have more than one days worth with the axe. But not much more. So the next day he got up before the rooster. He worked and worked and worked. As the moon came up he realized he only had a little more than the day before. So, the next day he took that danged ol chain saw back to the general store. He told the pro-priator that there was something wrong with that piece of junk. The feller took it from him, gave the starter cord a yank and it fired to life. The fellow jumped clear over the counter he was so startled. "What the crap is that?" He said.

That's my story an I'm stickin to it!

We still have some snow on the ground. It's cold and rainy. Just another day in paradise!

Actual Camaro stuff tonight. There's a huge cruise happening here at the end of the month. It's already North of 50 cars and growing. Most of them Gen5s. LBM is going to be there too. I'm in a mad rush to get some parts and components for some mods I want to complete by then. I went to the Alternate GM Parts catalog and put together an order. Only a couple of items totaling around 50 bucks, then I saw that they wanted to charge me $117 bucks for shipping. Screw that! Plan B....

My poor workbench is a mess...
