Thanks!! Love this string; as you can see, I do fit in.... We do like Minnesota. I met my wife (of 40+ years now) up there and we only return in the Summer (yes, they really do have a Summer and it is quite nice) to visit friends for about a week. She will only return to visit in July or August (a smart woman).

Since we're talking temps, it was showing 80 on the Tahoe temp display coming home from work today. Looks like lawn mowing will soon be back on my schedule.

I'm 57 years old, so I guess I'm an old fart too.

I was driving an '06 Dodge Magnum as my DD and had an '86 Monte Carlo SS that I rebuilt an older Goodwrench 350 and souped up with Vortec heads and headers, intake, cam, etc. That SS was my toy. But after I rebuilt it and had it running like a bear, I was kind of bored. So I sold it to some young cat from the City and took that money and traded my Maggie for my current brand new '12 2LT 'Vert.

I had a few ragtops when I was married and always wanted to get another one. I had a couple of Z-24 Cavalier 'verts, but my favorite was a '93 Olds Cutlass 'vert that had the infamous 3.4 DOHC 6 banger in it. That baby was sweet with a full leather interior. Alas, when my wife of 32 years went nuts and nuked our marriage, I couldn't afford to keep it around while we were dividing things up. I about cried when I sold that Cutty, even kissed it good bye. It went to a good garage, a fellow car nut that felt my pain.

When I saw the new Camaros, I knew I would get one. I was just waiting for the 'verts to come out.

So, last Saturday was THE day for me.....the return of the Ragtopguy!! I am soooooo happy with this car, I am just hoping that I don't have issues like some of the horror stories that I have read. Just wanna do some cruisin' with my very cool earth mother girlfriend and love life!!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

. Now that the dust has settled, how are you?

I'm doing well! Not looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow. Even if it doesn't snow much, the roads are wet, and will be ice by morning... Funny thing is, last Saturday, I went into Firestone to get the oil changed in my SUV, and the manager looked up from the person he was with and said "Here to get your snow tires taken off, Jeanette?" I said "No way! There's still snow in the forecast!" I'm glad I pay attention to the weatherman.... People were slippin' and slidin' all over the place today. Ooooohhh - slip 'n' slide - makes me long for summer..... LOL!!
