there are a couple scenarios for the move. maybe when they talked to manning, he wasn't high on marshall, so they dumped him for draft picks and cap room to pick up someone like vincent jackson or mike wallace.

Could be. I'd say that dumping Marshal is more of a sign of Manning coming than a sign he's not.
