Action shot - my stepson during football camp last summer (still learning the best way to catch those mid-air shots, any tips would be great!)

2 words

Ok so these aren't fancy pictures but it is My life through a lens.

Yesterday, I heard two very exciting words from my doctor.

"Complete Remission" !!!!

My journey is not over by any means but 3.5 years or so since diagnosis and it was the first time I heard those two words applied to my condition!!

Woohoo!

Sorry about the large graph. When I size it down it's too blurry.

Lot's of chemo, a stem cell transplant in June of 09, resumed meds in Jan 2011 and now this!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_myeloma

My journey from diagnosis in 2008 to now. Since it's a blood cancer, the only way to measure is a protein in the blood called M-spike.

Huge shout out to Tracy with RX Performance Products - a Camaro5 sponsor - SC2150 forum name - for the great work painting my engine cover.

Not my best shot. Taken using my point and shoot kodak dx6490. It has a 10x optical lens then digital zoom to 30x. I had the digital zoom pretty high so it lost a lot in the way of quality.

ALCS championship game. Tampa Bay Rays had just won the game to advance to the World Series. I like this one because a couple of Boston players are still walking off the field.

Did you know Kodak is no longer in the camera business?

Yes. It's a shame. Hard to believe I was satisfied with that camera for a long time. Finally bought my first dslr (used entry level) last fall.

Here's Bailey, taken with that trusty old camera several years ago. It's clear that Bailey didn't want me to read Cesar Milans book

Yes. It is a shame. Kodak used to employ a lot of people in upstate New York.

Cute pup with his lunch.

There is some really cool photos. I am also a photographer, so here a some of my shots. I like to do shots nobody else has done or I haven't one is called High Speed Infrared Photography. It changes the light waves as we see them.

Here are some white geese

Some wedding shots I did

These were down in Mississippi when we went deep sea fishing

One of my favorite places in the world

Took this at the Nebraska vs Kansas State game

And here is one of me when I was in Kuwait, this was taken at 10 am in the morning, it got up to 140 farenheight during the day.

Here is the equipment that I use: Fuji S2, Fuji S3 SLR digital, Nikon D60 converted to highspeed infrared, Nikon 80-200 F2.8 AFS, Nikon 35-70 F 2.8, Tamron 28-105 F 2.8, Nikon 50mm 1.4, Nikon 50 mm 1.8, Nikon 16mm fisheye, Nikon 2X convertor, Vivitar 2X macro converter, Nikon SB800, Nikon SB 28, Nikon SB 26 flashes, (2) Quantum +1 Batteries, (2) Bogen tripods w/ pistol grip head. Novatron 1000watt studio lights with 3 heads,(3) Novatron 300 watt mono light with softbox that I use in my studio. And I also have some film cameras that I currently don't use. Nikon F5, Nikon N90s, Nikon FG, and a Tamron 28-200mm 3.5-5.6. I just can't seem to give them up, even though I haven't used them in years.
