I haven't traded in my beer for a light beer yet, but I have cut down on the amount I drink. No more 15-20 beer nights.

I started doing low carb at the end of last year, and it's been a surprisingly easy thing to maintain. I was never huge on bread, but the lack of beans, rice, and tortillas can be hard. Other than that, I'm a carnivore

Lucky for me I was never really allowed to eat too bad and high sodium and dairy foods make me sick so its really easy for me to eat clean. My mom is a size 2 and has extrememly high cholesterol so we have always eaten healthy for her and never really wanted bad food. I do crave pizza though... Had it Wednesday night....

I eat ALOT of beans! I cook alot of WW friendly meals and alot of them are chilis and latino based. But I use brown rice. Dont really miss bread either. I have eziekel english muffins for breakfast but they are made with sprouts and not wheat/flour.

You'd get there faster if you ate cleaner and more often and drank less.

See I'm a big bread eater and that would be tough to give up, and as you know, I'm a carnivore too. Love my steak, burgers and chicken.

I've never had an issue with my cholesterol and that's surprising when you consider how I eat. I'll never let myself get unhealthy and fat, but I'll be damned if I'm going to punish myself by taking away pizza and foods I love. Life is too short so I might as well find what I love and enjoy it while I can. (in moderation that is)

Sounds good! I'll loosen up with the carbs once I get down to my target weight, but for now this is the easiest diet I've ever been on. It's not even a diet, really. A typical "awesome Friday meal" for me is a ribeye, and some kind of veggie. Usually artichoke, broccoli, or green beans.
