Ever have line of sight problems with your TV
Ever have line of sight problems with your TV?
Our fancy Koby LCD TV is just awful about the remote position; you have to point it directly at the little receiver dot on the front. All my other older TVs, you could point it backwards, at the floor, ceiling, didn't matter, they all changed. You can't be even a little to the side and its a 50/50 shot of the thing picks it up. This can't be normal ehy??? [I need some type of peel n stick funnel full or mirrors or something to get the signal to it.] |

Doesn't sound normal.
Weak/defective IR in the remote? Weak batteries? Dirt on the TV sensor? How old is the remote? I just recently had a problem with a sound system remote. The conductive paint beneath the rubber buttons was worn through, so it was sketchy to get it those buttons to function. Glued some foil on and it works again.
