LA is a pretty large area, I bet your hands got tired fast.

I use to have similar problems, a rear mounted tach fixed it

no really,

#1 anyone who thought they had a faster car, quicky backs off when the see its a sticks. Even had vetts back off after flying up on me and seein it, makes them think twice about startin something.

And reg folks who would ride my butt in traffic stopped also. They could see me short shift per say not goin much over 2000rpm n cruisin at 1500. Some how people get the clue quick that Im not going anywhere quick n they hang back.

It works is all I can say.

I don't know the exact size of the area we actually distributed to. I'm pretty sure there were other places that did this in other parts of the city. This was in the Santa Monica area...

The pay sucked, but there were lots of free donuts! They had these machines you'd pull a handle on that would wrap & tie the string around the paper. I think we usually finished up around 6 or 7 am.

I repeat...free donuts!

I dunno about that. My first job was at the Great American Cookie Company at the mall. Perks included : all the free cookies we could eat.

After about three weeks, I didn't eat another cookie for like 3 years.

Heh, one of my other jobs (yes, I had 3-4 around that time) was working for Baskin Robbins.

It took years before I liked Ice Cream again...

I saw a video one time that showed mcdonalds nuggets are a pink blob of everything they can fit into the grinder before getting formed into nuggets.

God bless the Autobahn... if you have a tailgater at your butt simple fast forward..specially if they are Vanīs, SUVīs, light trucks (Sprinter class) even the most powerfull 500hp + SUVs run into the airdrag trap north of 100mph that slows them down and you can drive away
Nothing better to wink a Porsche Cayenne bye bye at 125mph .. only the Turbo and Turbo plus are fast up to 155mph

When someone tail-gates me I just let off the gas and go slower and slower and slower until they finally pass me.

Works like a charm. I will even drop down to like 5 mph on a 70mph freeway if i have to.

My father in law used to carry red brick on his seat. When he was tailgated he'd roll down his window and wave his left arm around in the breeze holding the brick.

He had an amazing success rate.

This is what I do. If you speed up, they're just going to speed up with you.

I feel like since I've gotten the Camaro I've had a lot of people on my butt. When I first got the car, I had a hard time determining how close people were. But now that I'm used to it, I just think some people suck.

I mean to tell ya.....this happened to me a few weeks ago.....this MORON was poking along at about 50 mph in the 65 zone....and the traffic comming from the other direction was jsut far enough apart that I couldn't pass....so I laid back and when the opportunity presented itself, I HIT IT......its a very long straight country road.....I eventually slowed back down to 70 and looked back in the rearview and about 1/2 mile back was the truck I jsut passed....it must have "jacked him up" that I passed him or something has he was RUNNING at me.....and it took him NO TIME (he had to be running 100 mph or better) to catch me that fast, and GOT RIGHT ON MY A$$ so much so that I couldn't see his lights......WHAT AN A$$HAT!! so I did exactly what ya should do......just let off and gave him what he gave to me....not to mention, I was about a 200 yards of my work so I needed to slow down anyways.
