I wish I had enough money to buy a new GM vehicle. I've got a flex card but I really wish I could do more to help out. I was looking at buying a truck but as soon as it seemed like the salesman wasn't desperately trying to talk me into buying the thing, all the advertised incentives went out the window.

Happens to me everytime... I'll hear about the great incentives they have and then go look and end up having to get them to DX one in and by the time it gets in the incentives have changed.

I'm not even very picky about it. I just hear on the radio that they're selling them for 9,999 or something like that. So I go in, and I'm like "I want to buy a new truck. What ones do you have for the 9,999 and I'll just pick the one I like most." Then the salesman is like, "Oh, you WANT to buy a truck? That'll be 15,000."

Blah. My car is still running. Maybe I'll just wait for the Cruze to come out. I'm just worried GM won't make it that far.

Exactly. I just hate that I can't afford to do anything to help out. I wouldn't mind buying a V6 Silverado or something once I get the bike finished because I should get 50+ mpg on the bike, which will more than offset the gas cost for the truck, but I can't even afford an Aveo at the moment.

They still make V6 Silverados...

Man it has been a lont time since I have considered a truck..

Yeah. What ticks me off is that they don't make manual
Silverados anymore. In fact, the only way to get a manual GM truck is to get the L4.
