College degrees are overrated. The loans put you in so much debt you can never recover. Its better to start your career young and get ahead on practical experience nowadays.

Yeah, I graduated college at 21 in march, then got my first job as a part time college proff, then at 22 full time at middle school, but I'm still broke the majority of the time.....

But if I didn't help my fam or sib I'd have a lot more in the bank..

I didn't even start taking classes until I was 21. I started my career when I was 18 and have been doing the same thing, just at higher career levels since I was 18. 11 years of experience wins over a 4 year degree and no experience, at least with most companies these days in what I do.

Oh? So you're helping Giga through school? Shit.. now that's a sister for ya. My Degree isn't so much a 4 year piece of paper saying I spent money, it's more just something to hang on a wall, put on a resume below my FAA A&P ratings.

Give me some upward mobility having admin/business schooling on top of schooling on how to be tech support for Boeing/Bombardier/Airbus/Embraer/Dassault/etc right outta the box.

I did both work and school full time. Kept me away from a lot of bad influences when I was younger and kept my wallet full. I just wish I could break the habit of getting up at 4:30 AM>
