Well that's the second part of my argument. Offering a quality, value product the first time without needing to throw money on the hood to sell it will still bring in repeat customers who were happy with their experience.

Basically, you shouldn't have to offer discounts to sell a car. The car should sell on its own merits, whether it be design, FE, performance, versatility, etc. If you find that you're having to start incentives to maintain sales volume then it's time to start taking a second look at the car.
