About 5 months from camaro feast, I'm freaking out about weight, clothes and makeup.....should I bring it, or just the sunscreen....darn u!!!

Ordered Monkey wall decals last week for Caleb's nursery and they came in on Saturday!!! That's what you call customer service!!! Had to lay them under our mattress to flatten them out, but it's ok. Danny got Austin's big boy dresser on Friday, and moved the baby dresser over so I went crazy doing baby laundry and folding this weekend. Everything is even packed and ready for the hospital. All we need is another 5 weeks left of Caleb cooking and we are ready to go!!!!

Oh, and trying to get our backyard re-landscaped and our carpet in the rooms replaced before he comes. I'm such a procrastinater!!

NOLA is awesome. Hope we get to play in the Super Bowl there next year!
Beignets at Cafe Du Monde, BBQ shrimp and Bananas Foster at Brennen's...the list goes on and on. At least there is lots of walking involved too.

No C53 fest for me or BBOMG, did the big trip to Oshawa last year it was a blast, not to be missed at least once in your lifetime.

I think you're talking about Cafe Du Monde. Didn't make it there this trip, but the beignets are to die for!

I like the Bananas Foster at Palace Cafe (haven't been to Brennan's yet). The gumbo at Palace is awesome too. If you ever get the chance, hit the jazz brunch on Sundays at Commander's Palace in the garden district. DIVINE!

And yes...LOTS of walking! I never take anything but flats and running shoes when I go there. I learned the hard way that heels just aren't worth it!

The hubby and I went to New Orleans last March and stayed in the French Quarters it was a BLAST!!! Got stupid drunk of course. You have to have a Hurricane at Pat O'Brians It was freakin' good!!! Oh and yes Cafe Du Monde is a MUST!!!! Downside was walking those streets the next morning hung over. Stinky!
