Thanks Chris and JP. Right after I took the pics, my nephew came over and put on a set of splash guards. Talk about finishing the line around the wheel wells! When it's a little warmer by the end of the week, I'll mount a pair of 1967 "V" badges. That should take care of the exterior for a while. Then it's on to a performance exhaust!

(I need a guy to pay for my mods - heck, I'm worth it ..... is anyone on here single With deep pockets? )

Linda, did xmicro come up with the layout? That looks like something GM should have offered. Don't get upset when folks start stealing your stripe layout... it's that good

Why, thank you! They're not only IN my signature, they ARE my signature... They match my car...
Now, HotRod, we gotta find YOU some shoes to match your car.... let's see - silver, with some bling, and a little red to make 'em POP! How's this???

Prefer something flat, and more casual? (the soles are still red, even though the pic doesn't show it well...)

What he said. Well done!

Those could do some serious damage.

Hi everybody! We made it back,...barely! The Fraser River Canyon was hell. The snow started just before Hope (Yes, the Hope from First Blood.) By the time we got just North of town the highway started disappearing under a thick layer of heavy slush that threw our Monte Carlo around like it was a toy. The snow you see in the pictures wasn't there the day before. Then we got stopped in our tracks by a rock slide. We had to wait in the snow while they cleared the rocks.
The snow trailed off by the time we got up into the desert. (Yes, Canada has desert!) This isn't supposed to happen this time of year. We stopped going up at Thanksgiving just because of the way the weather always turned on us. I think I'm cursed.

That's actually a train down there. It's not a model railroad.

You can see the Southbound lane is almost completely obscured by now.

Thanks!

Xmicro had templates for the the gill inserts, bowties and hood spears. The are variations of the upper fender accent stripes all over the place, but these were the result of hours long collaboration designing, discussing, changing, redesigning . It would've been a whole lot more difficult and arduous without cell phone cameras, and email and mucho time on the phone. It was most certainly worth it.

And for other people copying it? As far as I'm concerned imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. My lips are sealed about the vinyl color scheme though. Only my graphics guy knows for sure.

The sneakers are a bit too casual, and the heels look like the should be paired with a mace or maybe whips and chains - and with heels that height (look about 5"), I'd be pushing somewhere between 6'2" or 6'3"

Thanks Sky Man! I bet a woman trying to board a jet with those heels would be told to switch out of those "weapons" and into the sneakers .

Today, the stripe master finished striping my car and I'm posting a couple preliminary pics taken with my phone. When I get better pics, hopefully in a day or 2, I'll post those.

My intent was for something subtle to highlight the lines of the car. The pop of RED was almost an after thought, but it completely makes the car. The intention was not "Ghost Stripes" but the result, was close to it.

Since today was overcast and gray, the stripes looked very subtle. In the little sun we had, the silver stripes popped and the Red RS emblems popped even more.

Thanks Xmicro_SS!!! I think it is stunning.
VERY nice! I like it a lot.
