just keep in mind, boxmonkey has a point about the bitching. granted it is a problem with the front fascia (not the grille, if you want to edit that as well) cracking. but everyone blowing their wig about something that has happened on one car.

either way the story goes for the cracks, I think there is some sleight underhand work involved seeing as how the car belongs to Hennessy... and we all know that story. (to be completely honest, I wouldnt be suprised if they were pulling up on the front clip to see how much flex it had and ended up cracking it....which would work in perfectly for their modified camaros they plan to sell.... "get rid of your cheap plastic stock front fascia and spend $XXXXX.XX on our version of it") JMO

Maybe that was 000002 vs. 100002 at Hendrick's?

BTW, nice pics cam. Where are the ones of you driving one?

I understand what you're saying but no matter what anyone says people aren't going to pay attention.

You saw what fbod posted, and still people are talking about how GM didn't test the car.

Well I was by myself I dont know if NVMY68SS got any of me driving or not. I was too excited by being in one i forgot about taking any pics while i was actually in it....lol.. Anyone that is getting the V6 will be happy. Really surprised me with the amount of power it had... The guy that was with me told me I could get on it. NVMY68SS told me before to "Drive it like you stole it" Which I was expecting them to let you take it on some 25mph roads but I was able to get on a road that the speed limit I think was 65 so I opened it up Didn't think about lookin at the speedo but when i let off the gas it dawned on me to look down and it was coming down pretty quick from 96mph.... lol... I dont think the guy was expecting me to do it but he said to do it...lol.. It was pretty quick and smooth. I dont know how the reviewers said the steering wheel was big It seemed perfect to me.

I'd like to direct everyone's attention to the "Camaro Grille Crack" thread on GMI...

http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...h-speed-78812/

No freakout. People aren't even blaming GM or bad engineering.

I glanced at that post... I met boxmonkeyracing there at hendrick yesterday he was pretty nice and another guy... I can't remember his name (im terrible with names better with faces)

I wonder if some idiot tried to open the hood from the front and caused the crack? I dont see how driving at speed would cause that.. Its not like its a brick with a lip on it going down the road at 155mph im sure they used the wind tunnel to test for the airflow on and around the car and this would have come up then if it was a problem.
