i'm a gm guy at first.
but i had mostly pontiacs.. now that it's dead..
i have to move to the chevy camp .. i never liked more or less.. the camaro always the trans am.more distinctive..
but since the ZL-1 is out,it's getting to me, i know i'll have one .it's in my veins!
as for jumping on the other side no way!!
i've checked the boss 302 sat in it like the car but i knew it wasn't right.apart from the mustang i am not into fords.. i went to dodge sat in the srt8 challenger..dreamt a little but again no confidence in the powerplant.
so the camaro//gm is the only choice.

When I was a youngster I was a GM loyalest, that all changed when I had to go diesel truck shopping at 21 years old and decided on a 02 Cummins HO with the 6 speed manual.

Ever since then I buy what I feel is the best product for the $$$.

All of my friends were like "Why did you buy a Dodge?" and my answer was

Mighty Cummins 5.9L
Bomb proof NV5600 six speed manual transmission
HD high pinion Dana 60 front axle
HD Dana 80 rear axle
$3-6k cheaper then a comparable Ford and GM

I dig the Mustang! Look at ffcobra_65's signature

That's a mean looking car!

I grew up a Chevy guy. My dad always had camaros but never said anything bad about mustangs. He wants a 66 fastback to restore but they are pretty expensive. Personally of all modern muscle, Challenger is the best looking but the mod scene doesnt seem as big as the Camaros. The mustang is nice, but i would drive a camaro before i would take a Mustang. Unless you compare a GT500 to a stock SS.
