Comp Gen 1 Spoiler installed

I got it from AutoAgenda through the group buy. it took literally forever to get but it looked pretty good. i had Billy from the South Jersey Camaro Club do the finish and paint. He said the quality was not that great but he made it look GREAT. the installation was fairly straight forward. The wing is alot bigger and more aggressive than stock. The one photo you can see Billy from the SJCC using a round file on my decklid. The three holes to the left side needed to be slightly opened up with the round file to make the bolts fit properly. Overall I'm very pleased.

Question... since its a one piece spoiler and it rides over the fenders on either side, any concern of rubbing or is the gap pretty good? Just curious b/c I like how the 1 piece looks as opposed to split style my brother has, but that would worry me a little.

Dylan, I don't know about this one, but it looks as to have a good gap like my Anvil does. No rubbing to touching, but it's not raised up so high it doesn't go with the car.

at first i was MAJORLY concerned when we went to shut the decklid..i was thinking..here we go..it looks like it may hit..but NOPE!!

absolutely no question of rubbing. its a perfect fit and rides the fenders close enough to have a barely noticeable gap but far enough theres no way it will touch the fenders. ill get a close up pic for ya if you like.

nice job on the post .. glad to have helped you out. as with all aftermarket parts, they must be pre fit !!! period!! only then can a shop give you a fair price on painting/ adjusting/ and installing the product ... a good shop will be able to help message this spoiler a bit to give a good appearance. i would never knock anybodys hard work or product... but some products are better then others like everything in life .. we just felt that this certain one we delt with was needing more adjusting(money) lol then others we have come across. just find a good shop and get more then one shop to look at it and make your descision from there. hope this helps you guys out in any future mods... pm me if needed thanks billyspeed

Damn where was I when all this went down.................

Looks great and nothing like it did when it was dropped off, I had my doubts.

I saw this spoiler before it was prepped and I saw it after. He got a great deal from Billy!
Billy spent allot of prep time making this part finish they way it did.

We ran into the same type of issue with my carbon trunk lid. Take the time to do research on aftermarket components. They are not always paint ready.

JACKETS:
I'd like to also note that our club jackets were NOT inspired by SOA.
I guess I should have put more thought into using the "The First Six"
That is the only likeness to the SOA vest. (I think SOA was nine?)
Thank you for the compliment though I have to give the credit to
"This & That Uniform" they do the embroidery.
