Talking SRT released another Viper tease image.

Clearly, it is a carbon fiber duct. Where is it and what is it for are the questions.

Hmmm...almost looks like it could be in the B-pillar - that may be the wing towards the far left of the photo.

thats kinda what I'm thinking. If so, it would probably be a brake cooling duct. But if its for the brakes, why put it up so high? And if its not for the brakes ... what would it be for?

It does kind of look like the B-pillar but, like DGthe3 mentions, it doesn't make a lot of sense and it isn't really in line with Viper styling. I am wondering if the picture isn't taken from an intentionally awkward perspective.

It may be...recall the original Viper with the big black intakes on the hood near the cowl? Those cold be a 'throwback' to that design. (the link on Jalopnik states they are intakes). HMMMM.

Fancy way for rear brake ducting from the b-pillar? Definitely out there, but seems more legitimate than a rear/mid engine layout...

It is front/mid like it always has been. It looks like a b-pillar duct but I just have a hard time believing that is what it is. I guess we will find out in April.

You know what I think it looks like?

A heat extractor facing the rear of the vehicle, located on the side of a raised cowl hood....maybe. You can sort of see a body line in there that may be where the hood meets the front clip...

That is what Apex Paul thinks. We spent entirely too much time staring at that picture today.
