YEs, differant oil can change the conditions, might break down quicker, carry down differant, certainly will take time to understand.

It damn sure explains my troubles. I'm starting to figure it out though. More down and in I have to play. Oil seems to carry down fast and stay out there longer. Lanes don't dry out like they used to. So what we end up with is a lot of carry down outside and not so much inside. I don't like it at all.

I think they change oil and conditions to help ball sales........

Think about it, if they stayed the same all year and you had the right ball no reason to buy another one. Keep things guessing twice a year and some will buy new balls.

Well that sucks. But my buddy in Seattle will thank them.

I use removeable thumbs so my friend who drills all my stuff can just drill me a ball and send it and the fit will be identical every time.

Looks like No one is bowling anymore .. Well I'm behind I know but I've had 3 days off this whole year so I'm beat !!

My last two bowling night were .... 223-256-205 = 684
245-169-210 = 624

Nice shootin Marvin. All but that middle game, few splits too?

David and I did not bowl yesterday as the bowling center had a tournament going.

Next week I will post again.

2/24/12 181-206-156=543

Might have figured it out this time. I think I was loosing my wrist position on my backswing. So Friday I concentrated on keeping it locked into position and was much more consistant. The last game score does not reflect how well I was throwing the ball. 2 10 pins missed and a 7-10 pocket left in the 10th.
