why arent there beautiful exotic LOOKING cars in the 20k range??
just wondering,and i know i sound like a noob on this one but i think the thread title says it all. I understand that having really cool body lines costs extra for complex tooling but why cant (or why dont) they make a $20,000 car as beautiful as a ferrari but gets the mileage and performance of a civic??

Because then they wouldn't be "exotic".
 It almost appears to me that mass-manufacturers realize they would appear to be "faking". Interestingly, though...that white Chevy concept at NAIAS looks VERY exotic...and a lot of people thumbed their noses at it.

The only thing I don't like about the new Fusion is the close similarities to Aston Martin's grille.
Other than that, it is very beautiful!
