The one girl here, her dad sent her flowers. Which is really sweet because her mom died over the summer and she moved from CA to MD to live with him. She never met him before that.

If it makes you feel better, my hubby and I don't do anything for each other. We just get something for our son and that's it. We don't like getting sucked into this Hallmark day with our relationship. I told him if he ever got me flowers and/or candy I wanted him to do so because HE WANTED to do it and not because a calendar day told him to. That's just me though, I'm not mushy. BTW I don't get anything other than on our anniversary!!

I agree with you hunny, but it was nice getting something today. I don't get to see G and this is his way of spending the day with me. Our relationship is new so it really cute.

That is so sweet. A girl here her hubby sent her these GAH-ORGEOUS sunflowers. So jealous.

Well, you all doing it makes sense. Your relationship is still new and forming so go for it!! Hubby and I have been together for 8 years so we kinda exhausted all the mushy stuff by now. I'm just not that kinda girl I guess.

Yeah, my parents still get us something and we get them something. Danny and I already agreed that we will get the boys something for these kind of holidays, but not each other. They are young and we want them to look forward to these days regardless of how we feel about them. It's special for them.
