Where is the Cemetery? Looks like something from New Orleans!
The cool think about the Alcatraz pic is that my husband was driving and I just kept snapping, snapping, snapping. Most of the pics were either blurry or they had parts of the Golden Gate Bridge in the way. When we got across the bridge, I scrolled through my pics and there was the perfect one with the seagull in the foreground and the lighting was perfect on the island. I couldn't have taken that one on purpose if I had tried.

Yes. The cemetery is in New Orleans. I have several really cool New Orleans pic. I will try to find them.

The tree pic was taken in Greenville, SC at a park. So was the pic of my son. I have several more I am fond of, but they are mostly nature pics of plants in my flower bed.

Ya, we can certainly take those types of flaws out in post production. However I tend not to on free shoots. Very time consuming. Just have to enjoy the car as it is, driven every day and still sexy!

I thought the cemetery looked familiar. Really cool stuff, but super creepy! LOL

Hey, being behind the lens and catching a great shot is the same if you get a killer shot of Alcatraz or your kids. That is the joy of it all. Seeing what other see through their eyes!

Wow, you all are very talented!! Nice to see some fellow lens lovers!

I am spending the week in Florida (today and tomorrow in Clearwater, Wed-Sat in Orlando) so hopefully I will have some great stuff for you all to check out!

I am heading to the beach now to try to catch me a good sunset, clouds are out to play today so hopefully I get lucky!

just getting started

I'm just getting reacquainted with photography as a hobby. Was into it as a teenager, had my own darkroom and the whole nine yards.

Wow.. A lot has changed!

Thank you. I had to do some doctoring in post. Mother nature really didn't give me much to work with tonight.

However, the wife said "You have GOT to get me this picture"! So I had no choice (because I was definitely fighting kissing her on the beach at sunset!!)

Here's a couple of mine, most are from my Flickr albums. I cant afford a DSLR but I just got a SonyHX100V and an HX9 so maybe my future pics will look a little better. Someday I'll hopefully take a photography class and learn how to really take pictures.
