Guy around the corner from me has a really nice lightly used 911 in maroonish type color. Early retirement gift to himself because he can fit his 4 yr old in the back so the wife was okay with it.

Let us know when you start looking

The important thing, I'm not here to talk smack about my ride, just enjoy generic sports car talk and stuff with fellow sports car enthusiasts.

However, my other vehicle is a Silverado Z71, so at least I have a Chevy bow tie on my driveway

My wife went into pre-labor on Valentines day but was still like 2 weeks early. They sent us home that night but we were back the next day for delivery of the oldest one (now turning 25), he was almost a Valentines baby but had to settle for the day after.

Good luck & congratulations on your new family member

Thanks a bunch! We're super excited!!

As far as the Porsche goes, any newer 911 will do. I'm sure I'll be in the 7-8 year old range whenever we buy... Non turbo. I need it to be in the 30s or less. I won't tie up more than that in another toy. She really wants one with the whale tail (80s) but I'm not sure I want one that old.

I look now and again. These are the last few I found.

Not too keen on the verts...

Just a dream

How many years out before you seriously shop for one?

Porsche gives 4/50k factory (or 5/50k I get it mixed up). When I bought my Cayman the extended 7yr/76k cost me another $4k added to the loan. When I was shopping the lot in Alexandria had a '06 Carrera S for about 40k but low mileage.

I'm not a vert fan for pretty much any model car. The wife and I rented an Eclipse vert in Orlando to visit my mom a couple Aprils ago, the lid was down for about 5 minutes, couldn't stand the sun beating down on me.

You know whats funny on the flip side, when my daily driver is beat to death in 4-5 more years I might get a lightly used V6 Camaro to turn into my daily driver, I hear depending on how hard you push the car you can get decent hwy mileage and I have a straight shot to work, no traffic and all on Rt 15.

3-4 years probably. We want to have a second child pretty quick and be be done... one two wham bam. Lol.

So after that. I don't owe much on the camaro but want to get the baby thing going.

The camaro is a great car. I've had mine going on 3 years, 30k miles, hand full of mods... I love it! The 89 iroc is just a garage ornament. It gets about 2000 miles a year.

A Carrera S would be killer! I'd love a targa but they seem high. Once the time comes I'll find something.
