Idk I asked Dad and he told me he would tell me about it later. I think only the ends of each of them were cross threaded. Still gonna buy new ones but they made it there in one piece.

Only time we ever cross threaded any was when I had a flat on the monte and had to put the spare on

Pressed in studs are a PITA to change. Do you have someone that's going to do it for you?

I say go ahead and buy new ones anyways, but keep the receipt and take it back where you had it done and have them reimburse you for it. Never hurts to try and ask, and since you wrote them such a polite letter about what they did I don't see why they would give you crap for it.
