I am going to go with:

Nothing against you, and I could be very wrong. It just sounds like in the first post you are trying to get sympathy from an auto forum, and then when everyone who respects their cars and the law mentioned how you could have got worse...you post with the tone that it's no big deal and your dad the LEO helped make it not a major issue.

Lucky it was on a back road. That probably got you some leniency. On top of that, your lucky you have a cop on your side....

If I had gotten a ticket like that 2 weeks within getting my camaro, the keys would have been taken away by my old man, haha. I'm helping paying for it, but he's got rights over it until it's totally paid for.

Speeding ticket threads are almost as bad as street racing threads imo.

If you're looking for sympathy when you start a thread like this you won't find it in abundance and if you are proud of getting a ticket because you're going 35 mph over the speed limit.....there's something wrong with you.

Lifting off the ground ......?

Not really sure what a Ralley Yellow Lt Grey Leath is...but it sounds like you own a space ship.

I sure do hope that was on the back-straight of some track, somewhere...
