Sorry to hear about your wreck S'n'S. Glad you're okay (for the most part-fingernails, yikes!). Can't help but notice the irony. Maybe I should have said something like "you have a better chance of winning the lottery, than getting in a plane crash..." Then you might be telling us how much money you won today instead!

It has also occurred to me as well, that air may have something against you!
Air pockets, air bags....

For the time being, I might advise you to avoid air for awhile!

I think a lot of us could use a weekend!! Lightning is still in the shop tho. They said it would take a week. It's been almost 2 weeks now. But, alas it's snowing this morning anyway. I'll be taking the 4WD to work.

Oh, and I recalled one more example to make the case for air travel: You know how they say you're in more danger going to and from the airport? It's true. I found out first hand. Last year in Jamaica, the bus I was riding to the airport crashed into a truck!
Perhaps coincidentally, it was the air brakes that failed...

I wish I was, but alas, no. I had to have a dent repaired (some dunderhead backed into Lightning in a parking lot) a little over two years ago. The paint started flaking off about 6 weeks ago. I took it back to the shop that did the work. They're fixing the problem under their warranty. But they are taking their sweet time at it.

P.S. I haven't enough shekels for any thunder. Thunder with Lightning would be nice.
