so, either SIM is mafia, and the SK shot him (which if this is the case, i'm going to lay one into mysteek), or SIM is pro town and the mafia (thinking they are going to kill overflow) shoot SIM instead....OR....SIM is SK and wanted to kill me, switched with overflow, and mafia shot the SK, and I saved the SK.

I'm not sure I'm following all this since Draco showed back up, but couldn't SIM also be the White Mage. This would explain why he wanted to visit you since we know what your role is?

Gambler would be another possibility to protect PMC. Not saying you're wrong, just trying to understand why you think he is the SK.

there are a number of pro town roles that SIM could be, but what's the explaination of no SK kill, or attempt to kill?

No, my role doesn't swap what they wanted to do. It only changes the actions taken towards them.

So either 1) Overflow being at your place as nothing to do with what happened last night or 2) Someone wanted to protect or roleblock SIM but accidentally protected or roleblocked Overflow. I'm leaning towards option 1.

I'm still curious as to why there was no kidnapping or SK kill. I know I was protected by someone so it's possible I was one of the intended targets.

On night two the white mage can have two people protected (one left over from night 1). You protected someone, and someone protected Draco. There's quite a few possibiliteis for a missed opportunity by the SK.
