Anyway, this whole thing really boils down to the parent's choice. Like I said, as long as the kids aren't GIVEN a vehicle outright, as long as their made to understand that they have to work for that privilege, that's the important part. That plus safety of course.
I had full responsibility of mowing grass at 5, lol. I actually think little stupid things like that benefit.

Hot wheels for me.

My father bought me my first vehicle (02 trailblazer w/ 100k) back in 2005 with pocket change he had saved for 15 years...but I don't consider my self spoiled since I work for my car now.

Ok just got back from my insurance agent, This is what they do. anyone can call their agent & ask them, If you got an agent that will tell you the truth.

For kids 16-25
They look at the MSRP of the vehicle if it was 1977 or newer as it would of been if it was NEW.

For 1976 & Older they go on agreed Value of the vehicle.

Just bought my 13 year old son a 2006 Mustang GT. I think it is very important for a child to learn to drive the car he or she is going to drive when 16. The more practice in a familiar vehicle the better. I use it as my DD and he drives it around the neighborhood (with myself or my husband, of course).
