I am a Ford fan and I will not sit and say the F-150 is better than the Silverado. Both great trucks. Can't go wrong with either.

Was a fun commercial. It's all part of marketing.

Commerical was interesting. Not sure why Ford is complaining, especially since they didn't have a single commercial during the Super Bowl (at least I don't remember one).

I don't understand ford whining about this. Because in the end, they got the last laugh here. The commercial wasn't that great and they didn't have to spend 7 million dollars for nothing.

On the contrary, to suggest that the loans Ford received were similar in nature to the bailout of GM is a bit naive.

I don't know why Ford is upset over this commercial though. Seems like this stuff always goes back and forth. . . they should just make a response commercial or move along.

Dunno about the comfort letters, but talking smack is just business. Should we all just hold hands and sing cumbaya? As for pressuring Ford not release a bailout commercial (again, haven't heard about that) that IS playing a little dirty, seeing as Ford themselves said that if either GM or Chrysler went under, they would require a bailout as well. Ford was just lucky enough to have taken out loans on everything they owned before this mess got started, their business model wasn't much different than GM's at that time.

Love the commercials. I thought Leno and Seinfeld's was hilarious. They should have used a ZL1 or GT500 instead of NSX

What this guy said.... They even pledged their blue oval logo and all the goodwill that comes with it as collateral.

Both GM and Ford have gotten up in arms over each others' commercials, and it's equally stupid.
