Winter boredom

As usual for this time of year I get bored.Tired of winter, can't wait for spring.
I usually pass the time in my wood shop and make a few small projects.
The first two pictures are a Cigar Humidor I made and will send it to my brother in California as a surprise .He has had a few health issues lately
(not related to cigar smoking, lol) I hope it cheers him up a bit.
The box is made of mineral streaked maple ,the top inlay is Spalted Fiddleback Big Leaf Maple, the inside is lined with Spanish Cedar.

The last picture is a few pens and 2 detail dusters. The dusters I will give to our local Camaro club (Chicago 5th Gen) for door prizes at our annual after holidays party this Saturday. The purple pen is my wife's,mine is the green one.

Cool stuff. Winter does suck but you have to admit this has been the nicest winter in IL in decades!

Nice work!! Your brother should be stoked! (I certainly would be)
I'm a closet woodworker myself and while I'm a rank amateur I know what the good stuff looks like!

Brushes and pens are sweet too.

The Camaro is in storage so I turn to my shop to keep occupied.

I usually don't work with Maple but I found the mineral streaked stuff and thought it would look different.

Thanks . The pens I usually make for gifts etc. These are made of acrylic and are actually pretty easy to make.
