Yeah, it actually kept up with my T/A even without the Y87. Proof that the 3800 is the 2nd best engine GM ever built after the 350, and that Autos are indeed superior to Manuals.

I keep telling her now that once she gets it cleaned up and the little bits of road rash fixed and painted I'm gonna steal it.

Unlike 5th gens, 4th gens had a nifty option on autos around that time (95-97?) called '2nd gear start'. Allowed 1st gear lockout and essentially became a sort of 'drag race button' along with the Pontiac A4 'Shift Perform' button that switched the shift tables in the 4L60 back in the day.

The more I learn about these little one year things, the more I actually love the 4th gen over the 5th gen.

Supposidly they knew the police were there so they went and protested outside his home instead. Alot of people around here are TICKED. They are lucky they didn't get shot! I mean this is the backwoods.

A marine died and his funeral was today. That Westboro Baptist Church was going to show up and protest they protest at a lot of military funerals.
