Okay now that I have gone through all the posts and everything, I'll send in what I got from the behind the scenes thing in the theatres. Yea the hoff is suppose to be in the show/movie, but he isn't driving the car. The next generation, not sure if its his son or just a random dude, is the new knight rider guy. The mustang didn't seem that bad from the scenes, I just always pictured KITT as more of a camaro vehicle. It might not be a half bad show.

I'm surprised nobody's brought this topic back up, yet...

Honestly? I like the 'movie'...However, the presentation was one big Disgusting ad for Ford.

There were more Ford Commercials than movie, and...grrrr....they made a blatant crack at GM's Hydrogen advancements.....

The Camaro would have done SOOOO much better as KITT, but - having said that, the Mustang wasn't terrible. The spoiler in 'super-mode' (or whatever) was a bit much...but all the special effects for the nano-tech was awesome, changing color, solor power? hehee I want my Camaro with all those options!

It wasn't that bad... I still entered the sweepstakes to win a KITT even though I want the new Camaro. If nothing else, I could sell it to finance the purchase of the car I really want.

I missed the movie, but I imagine that it was no worse than GM over the summer with Transformers in terms of being a comercial for the company

i couldn't even watch it all. i got threw like the first 45 mins. or so and turned it off.

is the main reason why. they did stay true to the whole bad acting stupid lines of the original show tho. don't get me wrong i liked the original show a lot when i was a kid. but watch a repeat of it 15 years later and your like wow not the same show i remember. and you will find yourself only watching for KITT because he is still cool. just my opinion tho

Not the best...2 1/2 stars out of 4. Not the best acting, lines which were expected, plot was also predictable. Agreed....huge advertisment for Ford...and if a freakin Ford Edge can keep up w/ that KR through the twisties, then I'M NEVER BUYING ONE!!! You guys see that? KITT actually had to "work" at losing the that Ford Edge....completely unbelievable.

I watched, but didsn't see anything great about it, like others have said, all it was is a huge add for ford. Got a kick out of the chase at the beginning. Big bad mustang couldn't lose that little ford edge on the mountain road and they showed the car was doing over a hundred and the Edge was right behind them.
