Is it just me or does the new NSX look kind of boring now? Maybe its just the silver color that makes it boring.

A lot of what you say is just you, the NSX is beautiful, looks way better than the Corvette that's for sure and I don't like Honda/Acura vehicles.....

You really think so?

I think it's much edgier and attractive than the Audi R8...but I still think the Corvette has much more handsome proportions. (long hood/short deck/short overhangs...)

Much so, the Corvette hasn't changed, drastically since the 80's. As you know it's changes have been evolutionary. I feel similar about the Corvette to they way you feel about the Mustang it's style has grown boring.
