He is a dodge man. No we have a concrete pad up by the house we park my car and my moms and Dad parks at the barn. They are about to build another garage but it will probably be done when I'm moving out...

Spend as much time as you can with him, once your dad/mother is gone there is know turn back the wife lost her mother last week at the age of 89yrs.we know she was up in age but it still hard to loose a parent

Yep. Like I said, he could still pass for 50. Doesn't have too much gray on him and still maintains the house and property. Only major health problem was some heart issues 10 or so years ago.

I know its not supposed to be easy, I dread it. 89, thats a good life! My grandparents are in their 80s, on my dads side, my moms already lost both her parents. Her mom died of some freak disease and her dad just gave up on living after that.
